We are dedicated to protecting the dental health of children in St. George, Utah. Led by Dr. Cody Johnson, DDS, who grew up in Southern Utah and has been practicing pediatric dentistry since 2010, our practice offers comprehensive services including monitoring growth and development, preventive techniques, interceptive orthodontics, and behavioral management. Dr. Cody is Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and completed his residency at the University of Iowa.

My 19 month old had a fall and it was terrifying. Dr. Cody helped us after hours and was amazing helping my son. A traumatic situation for me but he somehow kept my son relatively calm throughout the whole experience. Can’t thank him enough for also being the only dentist in the entire area to return our phone call as we probably called 15 dentists 😮💨

My kids hated going to the dentist prior to coming here, there was always so many tears. Since coming here they LOVE going to the dentist. They’re also very efficient time wise and so helpful + kind. We started with Johnson Pediatric Dentistry when my youngest was 1.5yrs old, so we’ve been with them for 4 years. My son was deathly afraid of the dentist and we had tried another well known peds dentist in StG, but he hated everything about it, he’d cry and never wanted to go. From the first day when we started seeing Dr.Cody my son loved it. He is so calm and not over the top which made my son feel relaxed. He always talks with my kiddos and jokes with them and it’s a great atmosphere all around. The staff is so wonderful and is always so kind with the many questions I always have. We love Johnson Pediatric Dentistry!

I love Johnsons Pediatric! My oldest son had a traumatic experience at another dentist office and since then he has experienced alot of anxiety when going to see the dentist! We switched over to JPD and he no longer struggles with going to the dentist anymore! They're so kind, patient, and they're always making sure that my kids are comfortable! I highly recommend them!

Cody Johnson & his staff are AMAZING! At my toddlers first appointment I was SHOCKED at how my 2 year old just sat there, completely calm, listening, & letting them do everything they needed to! I’m used to preparing for an extreme meltdown & fight that leaves me forgetful & crying by the end of it. As a single mom, who has always struggled with anxiety in general, I can’t express how much of a relief it is that she happily goes to her Dentist appointments.. I don’t leave feeling physically & mentally drained the rest of the day. Their communication with me is kind, professional, & informative. My toddler points at the office every time we drive by & says “My Doctor Cody is there, right?! He took my sugar bugs away from my teeth!” 😂 I could write more about how amazing they are, but just know I 100% would recommend them!

Amazing dentist! Always makes my children feel safe and comfortable while getting their teeth cleaned! They are very patient with my son who has a fear of any type of medical work and he was finally able to get a full cleaning last time we were in! My daughter had 4 fillings and she didn’t even know she had the shots in her mouth! The work was done well and in a timely manor. ☺️

Dr. Cody is our go to dentist- his staff is exceptional with children, his office is fun and welcoming. My kids look forward to going to the dentist! They love the salt water tank anemone with Nemo and Dory! They can relax while laying back watching some of their favorite movies. Dr. Cody is kind, gentle, conservative but attentive. He never rushes through a client but takes whatever time you need, answering your questions and keeps the door open to call if you need anything. I refer him to everyone!

We love Johnson Pediatric Dentistry! I have a 7 and 3 year old, this is the only dentist office they have been to and they both love it. The staff does a great job of helping kids be comfortable from the moment they step in. My 3 year old has had work done twice and they did an incredible job! She was comfortable the whole time and her teeth are so much healthier now. Definitely would recommend bringing your kids here!

We’ve been bringing our kids here for a few years and continue to be impressed by their work. They have a cohesive team that is genuine and accommodating. After visiting a few other pediatric dentists in the area who seemed to have to redo much of their work, I’m so glad we found Dr. Johnson who is consistent. I’m impressed how he reads social interactions with each patient and makes individual treatment plans based on his assessment of the interactions and the work needing to be done. Dr. Johnson was recommended to me by a friend and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend him to anyone!

We have been taking our little boy who has Autism and is now 5yrs old to another dental office here in Saint George for the past two years. On our last visit to that dental office they informed us that our boy had a few cavities and also needed a crown. Because our son has autism and is not always calm and cooperative they did not even want to try to get X-rays to see what all was for sure going on with his teeth. They told us that they wanted us to do a full sedation with an anesthesiologist team so they could get X-rays and complete the work on his teeth. They threw out astronomical quotes that were in the thousands of dollars range of a few different places that they could do the procedure at. Then after those astronomical quotes they said “or we can do it here for the low cost of another smaller astronomical amount”. This dental office also told us that my insurance would not cover any of the sedation and that we would have to pay for the full cost of the sedation up front before the appointment. We then became a little weary and concerned about that dental office and their ethics. So we started to ask around to see if we could find a better and more reasonable dental office that could help us take care of our beautiful little boy’s needs. We were told by several people that Johnson Pediatric Dentistry is an amazing dental office with amazing staff, a great dentist and a wonderful atmosphere. We were also told that they were very reasonable and fair with their procedure costs. We called their office and they quickly got our son in for a visit with the dentist Dr. Cody Johnson. All we have to say is no wonder why so many people recommended this office and dentist to us! Johnson Pediatric Dentistry is nothing short of absolutely amazing and wonderful! From the clean, friendly and welcoming atmosphere when you first walk into their office to the wonderful staff and then the amazing and very kid friendly dentist. They were able to get X-rays of our son’s teeth during that first visit with no sedation needed! After looking him over they scheduled us for a future date so that they could give our son an oral cocktail sedation drink to help keep him calm so they could get his cavities filled and a crown on the one tooth. We just finished up with our son’s appointment for all of the dental work and sedation today. It went very smoothly and amazingly well! This dental office knows how to take great and amazing care of kids dental needs and they are wonderful with the parents as well. I cannot rave and speak enough good about Johnson Pediatric Dentistry and their dentist Dr. Cody Johnson! We would HIGHLY recommend this dental office to anyone who may be looking for a great dentist for their children. This dental office was also able to bill our insurance for all of the dental work that was completed and for the oral sedation method. It’s looking like our out of pocket costs for all that was done is going to be much much lower than the lowest quote that we received from our son’s prior dental office. I took my two year old to the dentist for the first time. I was DREADING taking him because drs visits are always hard and he is nervous. When we first got there he was a little upset and didn’t want to get xrays or let them brush/floss his teeth! The girls there were so kind and even did “xrays on his Dino” first and made him feel so comfortable!! Dr Johnson was awesome and made him feel comfortable as well!!! They have games in waiting room, a fish tank, and movies playing! I won’t be taking my kids anywhere else!! They are so awesome and my 2 year old walked out of the dentist saying it was fun!!!
My daughter injured her front teeth while vacationing here and Dr. Johnson was so kind to answer his emergency line on a Saturday. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I will be referring friends and family for sure!

My six week old had a bad lip tie that was causing her to lose weight. I wasn’t able to get it fixed anywhere due to Covid-19. I called these guys and they were able to fit me in the same day for a consultation and ended up fixing it right then and there! It’s only been a few hours and I already notice a difference in how she’s eating!
My grandson had an abscessed tooth that we didn’t notice til it turned into a BIG problem. Dr Johnson was awesome! Got him right in and although it wasn’t a pleasant experience Dr. Johnson and his assistant did awesome!

Dr. Cody and his staff are excellent with kids! Especially with my daughter having sensory processing disorder, they were very patient with her and so so nice and helped me feel reassured when I was stressing out about my kids behavior. I referred my sister in law to them when her daughter chipped her front tooth and they got her in the next day and my sister in law was singing their praises! Love these guys!

Awesome kid friendly office with plenty of activities for all ages! Our kids love coming here. Dr. Cody and staff is knowledgeable AND great with kids. Efficient, thorough, & very gentle. One of our kids is a little dentist shy but does great here because we can go in the back with him. The ability to go in the back with the kids & staff was the reason we chose Johnson's in the first place. Everything else has just been a great bonus! All of our kids will be going here!
